Artist Bio:
Warren Pardi is a furniture artist living Barryville, NY. Pardi’s love affair with wood began in the
1970’s, establishing his studio in Brooklyn NY, where he explored natural forms through building
and designing furniture, and where he exhibited and sold his work at juried craft fairs, gift shops
and galleries. Pardi also taught his craft as a technology education in NYC for 25 years and it
was during that time, that his desire to explore organic forms, led him to investigate the world of
virtual 3D microscopy where he explored curvilinear patterns in the growth and development of
hard tissue. Warren holds an MA in biological anthropology from CUNY and has studied painted
finishes at Pratt University. Since his first ‘furniture sculpture’, ‘The Womb Chair’, was exhibited
at the Brooklyn Heights Promenade art exhibit, and featured in “Midday Live” with Bill Boggs, in
1977, his work has been shown at major exhibits and galleries most recently a solo exhibit at
the DVAA
