MIND-BENDING THEATRE
Join us at North American Cultural Laboratory July 26-28 for Kaleidoscoping, a three-day micro-festival and symposium, exploring home-grown experimental theatre and its relevance to the social, cultural, and political moment we are currently experiencing.
DAY 1: THURSDAY, JULY 26
Two works in progress: Out of Mind by Tannis Kowalchuk & Allison Waters; and dioramarama by NACL company-in-residence Bread Arts Collective; in addition to a panel discussion and lively conversation around the central themes of the event, led by Bard College Professor Thomas Bartscherer.
DAY 2: FRIDAY, JULY 27
Madame Lynch by Deep Space artists The Drunkard’s Wife (dir. Normandy Sherwood), to be followed by a panel led by NACL Artistic Director Brad Krumholz.
DAY 3: SATURDAY, JULY 28
CABIN by Deep Space artist Sean Donovan (in partnership with the Bushwick Starr). This will be followed by the concluding panel led by Dr. Bartscherer.
