Sullivan Public Workshop – Ceramic Workshop with Jessie Lazar

Sullivan Public founder, Jessie Lazar, will be hosting the next session in her series of hand-building workshops.

Jessie has been teaching ceramics for nearly 15 years at a range of NYC studios, most recently holding sold-out classes at Gasworks in Brooklyn. She loves to teach and brings new skills and techniques to share at each class held at Sullivan Public. These workshops are geared to suit developing potters with experience as well as those new to the medium.

For this upcoming workshop students will have a range of forms to choose from. Come with some ideas or a clean! A set of versatile hand-building techniques will be shared and we will build some special pieces together.

After class, your piece will be dried and fired and then Jessie will glaze and fire them in the color of your choice. Your pots will be completed and ready for you to pick up in a few weeks. We are happy to ship for a few extra bucks if you prefer.
