You are cordially invited to a party at the Artists’ Market Community Center, to share in the joy of the Holiday Season. It’s our way of making new friends, and saying “thanks” to those who supported us all year long.
A featured exhibit will tell the Story of Christmas in Classic Art, from the angel’s announcement to Mary that she would give birth (“The Annunciation” by Fra Angelico, c. 1440), through the trip back home—hiding the Baby from the murderous King Herod (“Rest on Flight Through Egypt” by Orazio Gentileschi, 1626).
This free reception will celebrate all Holiday traditions.
