“We often have trouble letting go of painful events in our past and this affects the way we respond to our current life situations”, states Gen Samten Kelsang, Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center New York. “Through training in mindfulness and meditation we can illuminate the real source of pain and difficulty within our minds and finally release it completely, leaving us with a tremendous feeling of relief and joy,” states Gen Samten.

Foundry42+, which will be the venue for this Friday night lecture is a comfortable space that is open to everyone, in addition the coffee bar will be open late before and after the talk.
